3.Three hundred dollars worth of gold.
4.Like nine years worth of subscriptions to The Onion.
5.Six months of this

The good news: my dvd burner appears to be burning movies with little trouble now.
The bad news: my cell phone bill was $300. I don't even know how to tell you how depressing it is. I thought I was pissed, but the truth is, I'm just sad. It's a waste. Such a fucking waste.

I'm actually really not convinced that I used as many daytime minutes as they say I did, so let's see how my battle with US Cellular goes over that. I'll let you know.

It'd all be worse if I thought about stuff I'd really buy. I want some omaha steaks, sure. But I NEED a goddamned frying pan for my apartment. I would REALLY LIKE a manual that'll help me clean my typewriter. Frames for pictures to go in my bedroom. A bookcase. Silverware.

I washed a plastic fork today.

In the interest of not whining, I'm gonna quit now and I'm going to go drop some money at blockbuster. As long as the burner's working, I'm riding that wave. Sure, spending money on videos is a bad idea when I'm so screwed, but hell...a few movies on top of that six months of gourmet entrees really isn't that bad.
