I caved in on Sunday and got some new music. Went to Best Buy and hooked up the Super Furry Animals record. It's definitley crazy and strange, but in just the way I was in the mood for. It'll be a tape in my car soon. Although, I'm diggin' this other tape at the moment...but that's another story altogether.

I also downloaded the Polyphonic Spree album to see what a "25 piece symphonic choral pop" band sounded like. It's interesting. Maybe I'll get it later, but for now...it just sort of sounded like ...well, pink floyd + the late sixties in general + what The Minus Five might have been going for if, instead of wilco, there were 24 hippies standing behind Scott McCaughey. Is that how you spell his name? Scott, if you read my blog you should let me know that I misspelled your name.
