I know, I know...no blogs for a while. And it's gonna stay that way, possibly for a week. I'll tell you all what's happening soon, but for now I'm so stinkin' swamped with everything possible that I keep thinking more about work and sleep than anything. And now I'm going to green bay to see Breathing Machine and we're late. So, for now...See you soon. Pray for my sanity.

Let me start off by saying that Metal Gear Solid 2 is pretty much the most compelling video game ever created. Dan's playing through it, and I'm captivated. It's like a movie...never mind the fact that if it's a movie, it's like 12 hours long. Anyway, today was the usual mix of going to class and hanging around. I'm trying to figure out whether or not I can afford to see The Get Up Kids in a week and a half...it's touch and go. Not much else has been going on..I've been reading Beloved (yes, the book on which the oprah movie was based) and it's good. Very messed up. Can't imagine oprah in the story...they must have toned it down about six thousand percent for that to happen. So, yeah...that's all. Boring day, I know, but it's all good. For now, Dan's about to beat this game..and...man...it's goofy, but I can't help but want to watch. Goodnight.

So, I know...no blogs for like a week, but I was home and seeing people...it just didn't seem nessecary. Yesterday was pretty standard. Went to all my classes, ate lunch with Rich, took a nap. At like five, Dan and I left for Rockford to see Breathing Machine practice and to procrastinate because it was monday. So, we got to Rockford with an hour to kill and went to megs. We hung out with Paul Redell, who was also killing time there (see, it's good to have one spot where everyone goes to kill time). We went to first free and watched the band. At meg's, paul locked his keys in his car, so during the time at first free, Paul's dad brought him some keys to unlock his car. Afterwards, we went to Old Chicago to get some food. After much laughing and eating of calzones (with a freakin' crock of ranch that our waiter brought us. That scored big points with us) we left old chicago went our separate ways. Then, while Dan and I were at my house, Paul called and said his bag was in my car...sure enough, it was. So we drove it back to him and drove back to DeKalb circa 1:30 in the a.m.
