My novel's taking a hit already. I've got so many things due in the next two weeks, it makes me want to abandon the ship now and just work on them. I don't know what I'm going to do, though, because at the same time it's really gratifying to be working so hard on writing. Balls. In the meantime, while I could be writing the novel, I'm going to write the James Yorkston review. But that won't get posted until later.

So, I've slacked on the blogging. I'm writing a novel again, courtesy of these folks, who are great encouragement to me as a writer. So, blog posts are going to be sporadic. Although I had hope to write a review tonight of the new James Yorkston and the Athletes record, which comes out today. I'll think about it later. I didn't finish the pieces on Bob Dylan and Elliott Smith I already have most of ready to post. Does anyone read this? Does anyone want the reviews? I'll probably do them anyway.

Right now is generally my time to watch Jeopardy, but today they have a 4,000 episode retrospective. So I'm going to lie down for 45 minutes, then drive home to vote. Peace out.
